What is Kansas STEM Advocacy Conference?

SASA (Student Association for STEM Advocacy) holds an annual National Advocacy Conference (NAC) where students in FIRST and STEM participate in training to advocate for afterschool STEM programs to members of Congress. The Kansas STEM Advocacy Conference will train students to advocate to state legislators and other members of state government for STEM programs in Kansas.

Who can attend the Kansas STEM Advocacy Conference?

High school students involved in STEM programs like FIRST robotics and their adult sponsors. For the inaugural event, students and teams within Kansas will have preference to attend.

When is the Kansas STEM Advocacy Conference?

April 27th at Paola High School from 9am-12pm.
